The iXflash Q Duo includes separate slots for full-size SD cards and microSD cards. Use the SD slot for compatible digital-camera cards and the microSD slot for compatible cards from drones, action cameras, dash cams, security cameras, smartphones and other compact devices. Only one card can be accessed at a time. If both cards are inserted, only the microSD card will be recognized; remove it to access the SD card.

The free iXflash app for compatible iPhone and iPad devices supports:

4K and 1080p Direct-to-Card Recording

Use the iXflash app on supported iPhone and iPad models to record compatible 4K or 1080p video directly to the inserted SD or microSD card.

Direct-to-card recording helps conserve device storage and provides expandable, removable space for longer recording sessions, travel videos, events, interviews, family memories and content creation.

For the most predictable recording experience, insert only the card you intend to use. If both cards are inserted, only the microSD card will be recognized; remove it to access the SD card.

Recording resolution, frame rate, available recording time and performance depend on the supported iPhone model, app settings, available card capacity and memory-card performance.

Picture-in-Picture Dual-Camera Recording

Capture yourself and the world around you at the same time with Picture-in-Picture dual-camera recording through the iXflash app.

The front-camera view can appear in an inset window while the rear camera records the main scene. Save supported Picture-in-Picture recordings directly to the inserted SD or microSD card—ideal for journeys, reactions, demonstrations, interviews, tutorials, family events and behind-the-scenes moments.

Picture-in-Picture recording is available through the iXflash app on supported iPhone models. Camera combinations, recording resolution, frame rate and performance may vary by device model, app settings and memory-card performance.

Android Backup and Media Management

The free PIODATA app for compatible Android devices automatically backs up photos and videos and helps users organize the media stored on their phones.

It makes it easier to:

Android users can also use the reader without the app for standard plug-and-play file access and transfers. The Android app supports automatic photo and video backup. Direct video recording and Picture-in-Picture dual-camera recording are not available through the Android app at this time.

The iXflash Q Duo supports compatible SD, SDHC, SDXC, microSD, microSDHC and microSDXC cards; SD v1.0–3.0 UHS-I; compatible UHS-II media; compatible microSD Express media; and capacities up to 2TB, depending on card format and device compatibility.
