TDK’s High Precision Stacking technology overlays Blu-ray Disc layers with absolute precision. This technology realizes the same ultra-high level of performance and reliability for multi-layer discs, such as the dual-layer BD-R50 and BD-RE50, as can be expected from all TDK Blu-ray Disc media.
For the rewritable BD-RE discs, an exclusive high-sensitivity phase change recording material and a layer structure specially designed for high-density recording are utilized to realize excellent recording/playback and overwrite characteristics. Even after 10,000 rewrites, TDK BD-RE discs still exhibit stable performance characteristics.
